i was grocery shopping with my 17 month old today and as i was wheeling him down an aisle he started screaming out my brother’s name. i thought it was odd, but i looked where he was pointing and it was a display ad featuring the dude on the left. my bro is on the right. smart baby :)

rarely do i ever post anything personal on here, but this is just too amazing not to share. my baby took his first steps! when it’s your own kid, i swear it’s like watching a sky filled with shooting stars … so unimaginably incredible.

baby food
so i was kinda planning on making this space a baby-free zone but maybe i’ll just throw one thing your way in case you or someone you know has a baby. i started making my own baby food a little while ago and came across a tip that i found very interesting. apparently, when you boil veggies (broccoli, sweet potato, etc.) many nutrients are lost in the water…so save some after you’ve drained the veg and add it back as you puree the food! simple but genius!
