someone asked me to name the most beautiful place i’ve ever visited and this place immediately popped into mind. whitehaven beach, whitsundays australia. we camped on this wild beach for a couple of days. absolutely unforgettable. the wildlife that lurked in the woods looked like creatures from a dr.seuss book.

where is the most beautiful place you’ve ever been???

an earthquake hit christchurch yesterday and it has devastated the city. i was there a few years ago and it was such a lovely little town. my thoughts are in christchurch.

just heard from a friend who escaped the massive floods in brisbane…so awful and unimaginable. her apartment was spared, but she had to pack up and flee for safety. hang in there aussies! 

this was one of the highlights of living in sydney:

it was such an amazing experience to get a bean bag chair, some snacks and just chill under the stars. i could never figure out why this kind of thing didn’t happen in toronto. well, it’s happening. check out the link below to blogto’s listing of outdoor theatres this summer. fun!
