The evolution between eater and eaten might answer the long-held question about why humans live longer, healthier lives on traditional diets. As researchers work to unravel the complexities of the interactions of the foods we eat, try these combinations, the most powerful food synergies currently known to science.

oh canada...
interesting article about butter in the globe this morning. i always wondered why croissants here were not as sublime as in other countries…
“Canada is a butter backwater, with less variety and quality and far higher prices than nearly any other food-loving nation. In Europe and the United States, it’s available in myriad permutations, from gently nutty regional butters, to...

it's coming toronto...
in general, i’m not a fan of chain restaurants…there are too many delicious options in this city to settle on some mediocre, cookie-cutter cuisine.
however, there is an exception.
i adore P.F. Chang’s. i just do. crunchy, sweet, salty, coated chicken and shrimp. tasty noooooooodles and veggies and flavourful fried rices. but nothing…and i mean nothing…beats their...

a little tip
Quit wasting money on green onions! Next time you buy fresh green onions don’t toss the white ends. Instead stick them in water and place in a sunny window. Whenever you have a recipe that calls for green onions just snip off what you need.

what are YOU missing? look around :)
A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed...

cravings...
i CANNOT get enough citrus. it’s getting out of control and it’s borderline weird. everyday, i drink a glass of OJ, eat 1-2 grapefruits, eat or squeeze some blood oranges and if i still need more, i’ll take on a lemon. WTF?
and if it’s not citrus i’m craving, then it’s breakfast sandwiches.
pregnancy is weird.
